The delegation headed by Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Zamin Nurahmadov includes specialists of Baku Telephone Communication LLC and AzInTelecom LLC. The delegation represented our country at a forum organized as part of the exhibition, took part in the VIP tour of the exhibition and held a number of meetings to expand business relations in the field. Cooperation between countries in the field of information and communication technologies was discussed at a bilateral meeting held with Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Oleg Ivanov.
Along with Azerbaijan, 392 companies from 15 countries – Belarus, Germany, Israel, Iran, Italy, Cyprus, China, the Republic of Korea, Latvia, the Netherlands, Russia, Romania, the USA, Finland, France are taking part in the exhibition, which will run until April 26.
The exhibition features solutions for fixed, mobile, satellite and fiber-optic communications, data networks, telecommunications, server and network equipment, broadcasting systems for cable, satellite TV and radio broadcasting, special software, information security solutions, virtualization, internet technologies and services, e-commerce solutions, etc.
The exhibition Sviaz has been held since 1975 and is considered the largest exhibition of IT and telecommunications solutions and products in the CIS and Eastern Europe.
This is a showcase demonstrating advanced achievements and technologies, determining prospects for the market development for the year ahead, and a convenient demonstration and discussion platform for discussing topical issues, communication between industry professionals, suppliers and customers.
