Microsoft: there are currently 900 million Windows 10 active users

Thanks to the end of Windows 7, all of today’s more and more users are starting to upgrade to Windows 10, especially for enterprise users with a large number of devices. For example, in March 2019, Microsoft announced that Windows 10 had 800 million active users. In the blink of an eye, Microsoft announced that it has reached 900 million active users. This is Microsoft’s data on a slide that seems to be used to educate companies about the unique advantages of Windows 10.
 
Interestingly, this active user data is not from Microsoft, but from the statistics provided by the market research firm Forrester Research. So it’s hard to say how many specific Windows 10 active users are, but it’s an indisputable fact that the number of Windows 7 users is gradually decreasing. For example, NetMarketShare released statistics show that the current Windows 7 and Windows 10 market share has shown a very significant deviation.
 
Of course, according to this growth rate, Windows 10 should soon reach 1 billion users, which is the goal set by Microsoft when Windows 10 was released. At the time, Microsoft said that Windows 10 would cover 1 billion users in three years, covering PCs, smartphones, Xbox, and IoT devices.
