Telecommunication services are being provided to areas with limited infrastructure in Absheron and Sumgayit

With the introduction of new generation technologies, the population will be provided with wireless high-speed Internet service.
 
Given the fact that there is still the need for telephone and internet services in certain places in the service areas of Absheron and Sumgayit Telecommunication Nodes that were not provided with telephone connection, or were partly provided with it, a project for the provision of stationary telephone and internet services to the population was prepared and is now being implemented with the application of 4G LTE (Long-Term Evolution) technology.        
 
Note that LTE technology offers such advantages as high speed data transfer and provision of telecommunication services to areas with limited infrastructure in a flexible manner.
 
LTE base stations have already started to be built in the relevant areas and they will be put at the population’s disposal in the near future.  
 
Installation of 35 base stations has been started in 13 places in the service area of Absheron Telecommunication Node (Ashagi Guzdek, Gobu, Jeyranbatan, Masazir, Saray, Khojasan settlements, Kombinat area in Khirdalan city, Qurtulush 93 and Yeni Novkhani residential areas, Digah, Fatmayi, Mahammadi, Novkhani villages), and installation of 9 base stations has been started in 4 places in the service area of Sumgayit Telecommunication Node (Yashildara and Qurd Darasi residential areas, Chorat and H.Z. Tagiyev settlements).
 
Upon completion of construction and installation works, about 3,000 subscribers will be provided with internet and telephone services.
