Today marks 80th anniversary of special communication services in Azerbaijan
Today the Central Office of Special Communications of Azerpost LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies (MTCHT) is celebrating its 80th anniversary.
The first special communication service in the Republic of Azerbaijan was established on August 1, 1939.
The Central Office of Special Communications receives, sorts, stores, transports and delivers to the addressee data (of special importance, top secret and secret) protected by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On State Secrets”, precious metals, precious stones, jewelry, securities and special cargoes, as well as postal items with a mark “For official use”.
In the period of independence, in connection with the 60th, 65th, 70th, and 75th anniversary of the establishment of special communication, one of the special communications service employees distinguished himself in the service was awarded the Tereggi (Progress) Medal of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and 2 people - the honorary title “Master of Communication”.
At the same time, several employees were awarded Certificates of Merit of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Azerpost LCC and the Central Office of Special Communications.
This tradition was also continued on the 80th anniversary. So, on this occasion, 4 employees of the Central Office of Special Communications were awarded the honorary title “Veteran of Labor”, 2 employees – “Master of Communication”, 11 employees – Certificates of Merit of the MTCHT and 12 employees - Certificates of Merit of Azerpost LLC.
While remaining committed to their dignified profession, the employees of the Central Office of Special Communications are confident that they will continue to serve our country more responsibly.
