A delegation led by Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade is on visit to Sochi at the invitation of Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Dietrich. The delegation took part in a trilateral meeting held between ministers of transport of Azerbaijan, Iran and Russia.
At the meeting, the sides discussed taking joint actions to increase the volume of freight transport along the route passing through the west coast of the Caspian Sea of the International North-South Transport Corridor, facilitate transportation and develop a legal framework in this area.
During the visit, bilateral meetings were held between Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramin Guluzade, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Dietrich and Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Eslami. There was an exchange of views on a number of issues of mutual interest in areas of transport and transit traffic.
