Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies awarded ITU certificate and silver medal

The annual exhibition and conference ITU Telecom World, traditionally organized by the International Telecommunication Union, has come to an end today.
 
At the end of the event, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan was awarded a certificate on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of cooperation between the Ministry and International Telecommunication Union. In the certificate, it was noted that ITU highly appreciates bilateral relations.
 
Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade was awarded ITU silver medal at the international event, which was attended by over 5,000 representatives from more than 100 countries.
 
It is to be recalled that our country at the international exhibition and conference ITU Telecom World 2019 was represented by the bodies of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, private ICT companies and startups.

 
The State Administration of Radio Frequencies of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies was also awarded a certificate for the organization of the exhibition and the construction of the National Pavilion.
 
Next year, the international exhibition and conference ITU Telecom World 2020 will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam.
