Azermarka LLC operating under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has issued postage stamps dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The issue is made in the form of a block consisting of one postage stamp. Block dimensions are 85x102 mm, stamp size – 37x52 mm. The block depicts an airplane wing against a background of clouds, in the lower left corner the text “ICAO 2019 - 75 years connecting the world” is given in English and Azerbaijani. Figure “75” obtained by the method of stamping, combined with the elements of the ICAO logo, is featured on the postage stamp.
The post block, designed by chief graphic designer of Azermarka Vugar Eyyubov, was issued in the city of Bobruisk (Belarus) with a print run of 8000 copies.
In addition, a special commemorative stamp and 700 pieces first day envelopes were also issued.
