Minister Ramin Guluzade instructed to all agencies of the ministry to take the necessary additional measures to ensure the continuity and stability of telecommunications, postal and transport services, the creation of inventories, ensuring the normal operation of power supply devices and strict adherence to security measures.
Relevant instructions were also given to take appropriate measures to organize responsible duty groups to ensure the provision of transport and telecommunication services, uninterrupted and high-quality radio and TV broadcasting, promptly elimination of damaged cables and lines, implementation of shift work in post offices, suspension of construction and installation work, as well as strengthening the protection of communication entities.
Subordinate bodies, associations and telecommunication enterprises, as well as telecoms operators were also given relevant instructions to provide the population with high-quality and sustainable transport, postal, telecommunications services, including internet, mobile communications and radio and TV broadcasting.

On February 7, 2020, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies and its agencies switched to a strengthened mode of operation in connection with a warning from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources about a sharp change in weather conditions from the night of February 7 to 8 by noon on February 10 (high wind, fall in temperature by 15-18 degrees, heavy precipitation).Minister Ramin Guluzade instructed to all agencies of the ministry to take the necessary additional measures to ensure the continuity and stability of telecommunications, postal and transport services, the creation of inventories, ensuring the normal operation of power supply devices and strict adherence to security measures.
