The new power strip from the company comes with a total of 9 sockets including 3 USB ports, out of which only one in purple colour supports Huawei’s proprietary 22.5W fast charging technology. That means, this port can be used to fast charge a wide range of Huawei / Honor devices such as Mate 20 Pro, Mate 30, Mate Xs, P30 Pro, Nova 5 Pro, Honor V30, MatePad Pro, and more. Whereas, the remaining two USB ports can be used for devices that require low power.
The other 6 normal sockets can be used to plug-in a variety of electronic products including household appliances. Additionally, as this power strip has a Huawei HiLink Certified Wi-Fi Module and runs the company’s IoT operating system called LiteOS, it can be controlled using a respective app on a smartphone/tablet along with voice control. Thus, non-smart home appliances can be made smart by plugging them into this power strip as it comes with a number of features including power management, remote switching with timer, and more.
With all these features, the power strip also comes with the necessary safety measures which make it withstand up to 850-degree Celcius. In a nutshell, apart from delivering power to the electronic products, it also acts as a hub for Huawei HiLink smart home ecosystem.

Huawei announces a new IoT product called ‘Huawei HiLink Zhengtai Smart Power Strip’ with support for 22.5W fast charging in China.
