Orders for Baktelecom network during social isolation also accepted online
Baku Telephone Communications LLC (Baktelecom) of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies continues to operate in an accelerated regime to provide continuous communication services to the inhabitants of the capital.
In order to ensure the security of inhabitants in connection with social isolation, there is also a working group in Baktelecom for online acceptance of orders, such as communication services and speed change. Without leaving their homes, applicants can place orders by sending an electronic request to the official page of Baktelecom on the Facebook social network, to the “Online chat” section of baktelecom.az, and also calling the unified Call Center 155.
During the period of social isolation, a total of about 8,000 requests for various subjects were received through the page on Facebook and the “Online chat” section of the site.
During that period, with the help of the Call Center, some 90,000 requests (calls) were registered and processed on the network Baktelecom. 45,000 of these requests were related to speed change, connection and restoration of internet services.
Over 20,000 requests were received for the telephony service, such as questions involving new connections, restorations, damage to cables and lines, as well as other services.
To provide users with uninterrupted and operational services, LLC specialists have accelerated preventive measures to improve the network. With the view of increasing network capacity and prevent traffic loads, new spare parts for DATA Core equipment were purchased.
Moreover, an enhanced working regime of employees of the network operating system (NOC) and on-duty teams was provided. Thus, information about any accidents that might occur or damaged lines, as well as networks in which malfunctions were registered during the day, is transmitted through this system to the on-duty teams and prompt troubleshooting support is provided.
