In rural areas, the percentage of internet users rose 7.8 percent in this period, to 46 percent.
According to the report, the number of Chinese Online shopping increased by 100 million (16.4%) from 2018 to 710 million.
Online retail sales reached 10.63 trillion yuan ($ 1.5 trillion) last year.
Of the world's top 30 internet capitalization companies, nine are Chinese today, including Alibaba and Tencent that rank in the top 10.
