Oscar Castillo, a professor at the Tijuana Institute of Technology, a prominent scientist in the theory of fuzzy logic, proposed publishing a special issue of the journal called Fuzzy logic and its application to modeling epidemies: Coronavirus and beyond.
The new issue will cover issues such as modeling and predicting the dynamics of the spread of infectious diseases, especially the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), using a fuzzy approach.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Research Institute of Applied Mathematics of Baku State University are the co-founders of the only journal in our country with the impact factor “Applied And Computational Mathematics”.
