The Aquahack hackathon, held for the first time in Azerbaijan on the topic of water ecology, was organized by Hackathon Azerbaijan in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Applications for participation in Aquahack were submitted by 328 people, as a result 68 teams passed the registration. Of these, 61 teams, i.e. 207 people were admitted to the qualifying stage. According to its results, 49 teams that meet the requirements of the competition were qualified to participate in the competition.
During the hackathon, the participants developed ideas to improve the efficiency of domestic and industrial water use, to determine educational methods aimed at saving water, to ensure the efficient use of water supply infrastructure, as well as water resources management.
According to the results of the competition, which ended a few days ago, the winners were determined. The first place was taken by team Arducoman, which will receive 5,000 AZN. The holder of the second place, team Aquahackermaks, will get 3,000 AZN. The third place went to team Satetlite, which will receive 2,000 AZN.
