Aztelecom provides 700,000th home with telecommunication services
Aztelecom LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has expanded the number of users and coverage area of telecommunication services.
Thus, 700,000th home has already been provided with telecommunication services provided by this organization.
The home, recently connected to Aztelecom network, belongs to Aydin Huseynaga oghlu Hasanov, a resident of Aranly village of Imishli region, a disabled person of group 2 of Karabakh war.
On behalf of Aztelecom, Director of Commercial Department Elchin Jabarov congratulated the 700,000th subscriber and presented him with a modem and other gifts. He noted that the subscriber will use the landline telephone and the internet for free for six months.
In turn, Aydin Hasanov said that he was pleased to be able to use the landline telephone and the internet in his new home and thanked for the opportunity created.
Then, Aztelecom official informed about the work done by the organization to provide and expand the coverage area of ICT infrastructure in regions in accordance with modern requirements: “As a result of the implemented infrastructure projects, the quality and range of services provided is increasing and customer satisfaction is ensured. To increase the range and scope of modern services, the broadband internet services provided through copper lines are being replaced by services based on fiber optic technologies.”
He added that in order to bring telecommunication services in our country in line with modern world standards, reconstruction work began on the backbone network based on DWDM / MPLS technologies. Under the project, state-of-the-art equipment is installed at telecommunication centers; additional fiber optic backbone lines are laid. Due to the implementation of the project, the amount of traffic transmitted to the regions has increased several times.
According to him, reconstruction of the network is currently underway on the basis of projects developed to improve the quality and increase the range of services in four regions, and at the next stage it is planned to carry out such work in six more regions. In our service areas, there are settlements located in mountainous terrain where difficulties emerge when laying cable lines. In order to provide access to services in these areas, a network is being built using 4th generation wireless telecommunication technologies.
It should be noted that in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, Aztelecom LLC is taking preventive and targeted measures to provide the population with continuous and stable telecommunication services, the technical staff is working in an accelerated regime and on shift basis.
