Coverage area of telecommunication services in Bilasuvar region expanding

Aztelecom LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies continues to carry out projects aimed at improving the quality, sustainability of telecommunications services, expanding their coverage area in regions and during the COVID-19 pandemic.
 
Currently, significant work is being done on the territory of Bilasuvar region to form a sustainable telecommunications infrastructure and create opportunities for more citizens to use internet services.
 
As part of the expansion of the coverage area, a new electronic automatic telephone exchange was built and commissioned in the village of Zahmatabad.
 
A fiber-optic cable has been laid in the regional center to provide high-speed internet services for residents of several residential buildings built for veterans and families of martyrs of the Karabakh war.
 
Recently, new equipment has been installed in the central electronic automatic telephone exchange and rural electronic automatic telephone exchanges in Ismetli, Guneshli, Nasimi, Aliabad, Khirmandaly, Baghbanlar to provide internet access to citizens applying for connection to the global network.
 
At the same time, the issues of bringing communication lines in line with the norms and the implementation of other preventive measures are constantly in the spotlight.
 
Damaged cables of various capacities were replaced with new ones in several places in the regional center – on the streets of Pushkin, Heydar Aliyev, Mubariz Ibrahimov. This, in turn, contributed to a significant improvement in the quality of services provided. Moreover, in the service area, several unusable poles were replaced with new ones and more than seven kilometers of subscriber lines were brought in line with technical standards.
