The Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies has established the Electronic Social Activity System eSAS and, on its basis, has developed the ministry’s volunteer program.
As it is known, 2020 has been declared the “Year of Volunteers” in our country by Order No. 1748 of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated December 30, 2019.
The purpose of creating the Electronic Social Activity System eSAS and developing the Ministry’s volunteer program on its basis is the personal development of young people, increasing their knowledge and digital skills in information technologies, their education, supporting creative ideas and innovative initiatives, as well as effective organization of their leisure time.
ESAS volunteers will work with e-services and applications, work with websites and social networks, keep them under control and ensure online activity, timely consideration of comments, questions, complaints and suggestions and provide relevant information. They will also participate in the detection of misinformation about Azerbaijan on the internet and in the world community, and in refuting that information by providing relevant information.
Along with this, eSAS volunteers will have the opportunity to gain experience in the ministry’s office, its structural units, bodies included in the structure or subordinate bodies that are not included in its structure. They will also be involved in welcoming, registration, redirection, accompaniment, informing of local and foreign guests, organizing venues and other technical and organizational activities at various local and international events, trainings and seminars organized by the ministry.
Volunteers who successfully complete the eSAS volunteer program will be awarded relevant certificates of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies. Volunteers with the most active, relevant qualifications and professional knowledge, who become successful in the competition and interview in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, will be provided assistance in finding employment in the structural units of the ministry, its agencies included in its structure or subordinate bodies not included in its structure.
