A meeting was held between Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies Ramin Guluzade and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to our country Seyyed Abbas Mousavi.
The Minister congratulated the ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic activity in our country and wished him success.
During the meeting, Ramin Guluzade said that on October 22, with the liberation of Aghband settlement of Zangilan region and Aghband border post from occupation, the state border of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran was taken under full control. The Minister congratulated the state and people of Iran on this occasion. In turn, Ambassador Seyyed Abbas Mousavi conveyed his congratulations to the Azerbaijani people.
The Minister also informed the ambassador about the recent military provocations of Armenia against our country, its aggressive policy, war crimes committed as a result of missile strikes against the civilian population and civilian objects.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of transport, ICT and post.
