The Minister congratulated the ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic activity in our country and wished him success.
During the meeting, Ramin Guluzade informed the ambassador about the recent military provocations of Armenia against our country. He also reported on civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure as a result of the cluster bombing of the city of Barda by the Armenian Armed Forces on October 28.
The Minister noted that from September 27 up to the present day, 91 civilians were killed, 400 civilians were injured and more than 3 thousand civilian objects were damaged as a result of the ballistic missile attacks by the Armenian armed forces on Azerbaijan’s Aghdam, Aghjabedi, Tartar, Goranboy and Barda regions, the cities of Ganja and Mingachevir, as well as Khizi and Absheron districts, in areas away from conflict zones.
Ramin Guluzade stressed that the international community should strongly condemn Armenia for its war crimes and urge it to refrain from such actions.
Ambassador Bilal Haye said that Pakistan has always supported and will continue to support Azerbaijan’s fair position.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of innovation, high technologies and transport.
