Samsung ushers in a new era of 110-inch MicroLED TVs

Samsung Electronics has announced a new generation of a smart TV – MicroLED panel, which provides the highest picture quality. The device is intended for use in premium home theatre systems.
The presented TV uses microscopic LEDs, the dimensions of which do not exceed a few microns. MicroLED technology does not require colour filters or additional illumination, but still provides stunning colour reproduction.
Samsung previously used the MicroLED system in The Wall modular screens, and now it has made its way to consumer TVs in a classic format. The announced panel measures 110 inches diagonally and has 4K HDR support.
The new product claims 100% coverage of DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB colour spaces. The screen, in fact, has no bezels: it takes up 99.99% of the surface area. The service life of the panel reaches 100,000 hours.
The built-in Majestic Sound System produces high quality 5.1 sound without the need for external speakers. The Multi View function allows you to split the screen into four sections to display content from different sources.
On the world market, the novelty will be released in the first quarter of next year. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t revealed the price yet.
