At the event, volunteers who also took an active part in other projects within eSAS Volunteer Program were awarded certificates, letters of appreciation and various valuable gifts by the organizers.
The goal of the speech recognition project was to accelerate and support the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning for speech recognition in the Azerbaijani language, as well as collection of various large databases.
At the initial stage, sentences were collected with the participation of eSAS volunteers for the preparation of the language corps, texts were placed in a special section (ai.opendata.az) on the website opendata.az and checked accordingly.
It should be noted that over 350 hours of text were played within the project.
The Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan also joined the project and was very active.
It should be noted that the activities of eSAS volunteers were first used in the online chat service of reqemli.az, which was created to provide easy access to relevant digital services during the pandemic for prompt response to questions from the population, as well as development of the site and placement of information on the site.
ESAS volunteers also took an active part in protecting Azerbaijan’s interests as social network users in the information war of Armenia and the Armenian lobby against Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War. Thus, they took part in revealing misinformation, false or distorted information about our country spread in the world community, on Internet resources, refuting them, and successfully delivering the realities of Azerbaijan and our true voice to the international community.
Volunteers distinguished for their activity in projects implemented within eSAS Volunteer Program awarded
