First “Creative Solution Go” Olympiad organized in Azerbaijan

Within the framework of InnoWeek – Innovation Week,  the Olympiad “Creative Solution Go”  took place in our  country for the first time on December 16-17, 2020 within the framework of the project “Robopark” of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, jointly  organized by Azerbaijan Robotics Engineering Academy  (AREA) with the support of the “Creative Azerbaijan” portal  of the Ministry of Culture in partnership with the Ministry of  Education and Ministry of Youth and Sports.
 
The goal of the Olympiad, held on the theme “How to live in a pandemic”, is to support the development of programming, teamwork, ICT and scientific knowledge of young people, to increase their interest in coding and visualization, and to stimulate the development of games and animations.
 
The Olympiad was held in two categories for children aged 7-12. The event was attended by 28 schoolchildren: 16 – in the nomination “Game design and presentation”, and 12 – in the nomination “Animation design and presentation”. Participants prepared game and animated presentations and shared them in a two-minute video.
 
The first place in the category  “Animation design and presentation” was taken by Huseyn Ahmadli,  the second place – Yashar Hasanli, the  third place – Anna Neymisheva.
 
The winners in the category “Game design and presentation” were as follows: the first place – Saleh Guluzade, the second place – Muhammad Mustafa, the third place – Eldar Mustafayev.
