On March 4, Redmi began selling the cheapest 86-inch TV in the world called the Redmi Max 86, which is priced at $ 1240. In less than two weeks, Redmi Max 86 sales exceeded 12,000 units and revenues were around $ 15 million.
The manufacturer confirmed that in just a few days, almost as many Redmi Max 86s were sold as TVs of this diagonal in the whole of last year in China.
The display of Redmi Max 86 occupies 97.25% of the front panel area, the IPS matrix has a resolution of 4K, it covers 92% of the DCI-P3 color space. In addition, there is support for MEMC and HDR10 + technologies, and the image refresh rate is 120 Hz.
The TV received 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory, support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies. Powered by Redmi Max 86 running MIUI for TV 3.0.
