AzInTelecom LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies organized an online conference entitled “Plan your B: Business Continuity”.
The main objective of the conference is to get familiar with the principles of business continuity and promote a sustainable approach to protecting against potential errors in the activities of public and private entities in Azerbaijan, reducing and restoring their probability of occurrence.
Speakers at the event included representatives of AzInTelecom LLC, Palo Alto Networks, Veeam Software and the Norwegian company DNV GL, who shared their knowledge and useful advice in this area with the participants. Speakers highlighted the importance of a business continuity plan to be prepared for sudden mistakes and unforeseen business incidents and continue to work in the most challenging environments.
Along with Azerbaijan, 41 registered participants from Turkey, England, Singapore, Israel, Switzerland, India, Germany, USA, Norway, Mauritania and other countries joined the conference.
In conclusion, the speakers answered the questions from the event participants.
It should be noted that AzInTelecom LLC, the first Azerbaijani company having the certificate of the Business Continuity Management System Standard (ISO 22301), plans to hold such useful conferences on a regular basis throughout the year.
