After a number of messages about bad sales of iPhone 12 mini, especially compared to other iPhone 12 models, Trendforce’s research company stated that the production of the smartphone was already terminated.

 

According to TrendForce, Apple advanced the production of the compact flagship iphone 12 mini in the second quarter of 2021. Apparently, the demand for the smallest iPhone disappointed Apple, and now it will try to sell all the warehouse remnants of the device before launching a new smartphone series in the fall of this year. Recall that the iPhone 12 mini submitted in the fall of 2020 is equipped with a 5.4-inch display and by other parameters, with the exception of the battery capacity, fully corresponds to the basic iPhone 12. The recommended cost of the device begins from 69,990 rubles.

 

Despite the low success of a compact smartphone, it is expected that this fall Apple will still present the actuated iPhone 13 mini (or 12s mini). But already in the model range of 2022 there will be no compact device.
