Flagship processor MediaTek Dimensity 2000 will be released in the first half of 2022
MediaTek, according to network sources, outlined the first-second quarter of the next year, the announcement of the productive mobile processor dimensity 2000 for smartphones of the highest price segment.
It is reported that the production of the product will be engaged in TSMC. At the same time, 4-nanometer technology will be applied, and not a 5-nanometer, as previously assumed.
If you believe the data available, the dimensity 2000 will include several computing blocks. One of them will receive powerful Cortex-X2 kernels, which in terms of performance in single-threaded applications are approximately 16% superior to Cortex-X1 kernels. Another block will elect Cortex-A710 kernels: their speed is 10% higher compared to Cortex-A78.
The graphic component of the Dimensity 2000 processor will use the MALI-G710 accelerator. In terms of performance, it is ahead of Mali-G78 by approximately 20%.
Of course, the Dimensity 2000 will enter an advanced modem with support for cellular networks of the fifth generation (5G). The platform will provide support for multi-module high-resolution chambers and displays with high update.
