Minister meets with participants of Olympic Games from ‘Communications’ Sports Club

The Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov has met with the members of the "Communications" sports club who took part in the Olympic Games. During the meeting, A. Abbasov said that thanks to the care and attention provided by the Head of the State and the President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev great achievements was made the Sports sphere, like in any other sphere in Azerbaijan.

He gave a high assessment to the hard work done by the members of the "Communications" Sports Club.  "Athletes from the "Communication" Sports Club participated successfully in a number of international sporting events. 

The participation of the three sportsmen of the Sports Club in  the Olympic Games and winning of a bronze medal by Teymur Mammadov brought  honor to the club", A.Abbasov told the sportsmen. The Minister visited the Sports Club’s practice hall to familiarize himself with conditions in which club members train. 

He listened to their requests and gave an instruction to create a web-page for the club.  Ali Abbasov was told that appropriate conditions were also created in the "Communication" Sports Club’s regional branches.  Then, members of the club expressed their gratitude to the President Ilham Aliyev for the care and attention he gives to the Sports sphere.
