New multimedia pay telephones will be installed in Baku city in connection with the ‘Eurovision-2012’ song contest. According to information provided by ‘ICTnews’, installations of pay telephones will be carried out by Baku Automatic Telephone Hub in locations determined by the Executive Power of Baku city. These universal pay telephones will have attractive design, and accept both cards and coins.
Besides, pay telephones will have inscriptions in English language on their sides so that foreigners could easily use them. These inscriptions will include instructions for use, codes of different countries and region, and other information to provide convenience for users.
New pay telephones will be initially installed in the center of the city. Then, they will be installed in settlements and villages. Let’s note that the ‘Baku Telephone Communication’ Production Unit has laid optic cable lines in various directions in order to provide the arena, where the song contest will be held, with the alternative high speed internet.
