As a result of activities implemented in order to expand the coverage of TV and radio channels coverage of AzTV channel was extended from 99.5% of the population in 2005 to 99.9% in 2012, coverage of ‘Ictimai’ TV channel was extended from 65% of the population in 2005 to 89% in 2012, coverage of ‘Lider’ TV from 75% to 88.8%, coverage of ATV from 50% to 82,2 %, coverage of ANS TV from 65% to 80%, coverage of ‘Khazar’ TV from 60% to 78%.
The coverage of ATV-INT channel, which started broadcasting in 2010, was expanded to 23% of the population. The coverage of ‘Madaniyyat’ TV channel, which started broadcasting in 2011 was extended to 70% of the population.
Quality of broadcasting of TV and radio channels improved
