According to him, this communication service, which meets modern standards, is in a very great demand in the summer season. ‘The communication network of the region, equipped with modern EATSs, covers almost all residential areas in Gakh region.
The residential areas, which have not been digitalized yet, are covered with the satellite communication. Replacement of connection lines, which connected villages to the central ATS , with optic cables eliminated the difference which existed between subscribers living in urban and rural areas. As a result of the activities implemented in the last 5 years, the total number of telephone subscribers has reached 10,000 subscribers.
Number of telephone subscribers totals 10,000 people in Gakh
The CDMA non-sim network has been expanded in Gakh region.
