The new service will be rendered to users through MPEQ 4 system, unlike the previous one, which was based on the IPTV platform. Initially, 60 TV channels will be broadcasted. The ‘Baku Telephone Communication’ PU plans to increase the number of broadcasted TV channels in future. At present, the ‘Baku Telephone Communication’ PU is implementing testing activities in this regard.
IPTV services to be expanded in Baku
The ‘Baku Telephone Communication’ Production Unit plans to expand IPTV services in Baku. This information was provided to ICTnews by the Chief Expert of the ‘Baku Telephone Communication’ PU Elmar Gadirov. According to him, the ‘Baku Telephone Communication’ PU is now preparing to launch new IPTV services.The new service will be rendered to users through MPEQ 4 system, unlike the previous one, which was based on the IPTV platform.
