Common technical and legal concepts of TASIM project developed by experts were presented on the first day of the event while representatives of the leading telecom operators briefed on the current situation in telecommunication sector and further plans and projects.
The second day of the event was focused on exchange of views on establishment of TASIM Permanent Secretariat which will be based in Baku and developing a memorandum of understanding to organize future joint work of telecom operators interested in implementation of the project.

The two-day international seminar meeting got under way as part o the project "Transnational Eurasian Information Superhighway” (TASIM) in Gabala on 12-13 July. Telecommunications operators from Azerbaijan, China, Turkey, Russia and Kazakhstan participated in the seminar. The main purpose of the event was to discuss project management, regulation of relations between the operators-participants of the project, coordinating interests and establishment of an international consortium.
