Employees of Azerkosmos OJSC took part in a training, which was held in the People’s Republic of China on July 9-28, 2012 under the topic of “Application of satellite technologies”.
During the training Azerkosmos’ specialists gained conceptual knowledge and practical skills in the field of Application of satellite technologies, including application of communication and navigation satellites as well as satellites for monitoring earth’s surface. In the course of the training, participants visited a number of organizations which use space products.
The training was organized by the Chinese Academy of Space Technology for specialists from the countries, which recently started to create their own space industry. At the end of the training the participants were awarded certificates of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China.
