Minister: Azercell and Bakcell can get 3G license soon
Azerbaijani Communications and IT Minister Ali Abbasov said the country’s mobile operators Azercell and Bakcell will receive a license to provide the 3G standard services in the near future. The process for issuing licenses to these operators is in its final stage, Abbasov said. The operators should only address some minor technical issues, after which their documents for the license will comply with all requirements. "The license can be issued to these operators in a week at least," he said. Today, three mobile operators - Azercell, Bakcell and Azerfon operate in Azerbaijan. Only Azerfon has a license to provide the 3G standard services.Views: 804
