61.4 million manats were invested to bringing level of Communication System to up-to-date standards
During 6 months of this year associations and organizations of the Ministry of Communications and IT invested 61.4 million manats into rising the level of the state communication system to up-to-date standards . In 2011 the state budget allocated for his purpose 32 million manats and a part of this sum has already been expended. 95,8 million manats were invested in ICT, information and mail sector, and this is 2 times more than in the past year. The sum expended in this sector makes up 2.1% of the total investment made into the state economy. In the result of realization of investment projects ATS numbering capacity increased by 11,936 numbers during the reporting period, and subsequently the capacity of the public stationary telephone network has come to 1,679, 236 numbers. 1.8 million manats were invested into modernization of telephone network and introduction of new technologies in the regions. In result of this the general capacity of regional EATS has come to 1,040 numbers, and 3,145 users of Sumgait city and several regions have been connected to subscriber lines. After completion of construction of 51 km long Lankaran- Lerik fiber optical cable line, the central ATS of Lerik city was directly connected to TAE line. ATS in 21 villages of 14 regions were connected to the fiber optical cable line. Construction of Masalli-Yardimli the fiber optical cable line has already started.Views: 894
