The Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has held a meeting with the head of representative office of Slovenian “Iskratel” company in Azerbaijan Farid Nasibov. According to information provided to “ICTnews” online news service by the Ministry of Communications and IT of Nakhchivan AR, the meeting highlighted a number of issues related to the ICT sphere, including the ministry’s future plans for information and communication technologies, widening of broadband services, technical solutions for providing IP telephony services via the Internet, etc.
During the meeting Farid Nasibov made an extensive presentation on the equipment and technical solutions developed by Iskratel for the telecommunication sphere. Let’s note that during the XVIII International Telecommunication and Information Technologies Exhibition “Bakutel-2012”, which was held at the “Baku Expo” centre on 6-9 November 2012, the minister of Communications and Information Technologies of Nakhchivan AR Rovshan Mammadov met with the general director and sales manager of Slovenian “Iskratel” company Jelko Pulich and Mitya Jelnikarla. After the presentation an agreement was reached to hold a meeting between the local representation of “Iskratel” company and the Ministry of Communications and IT of Nakhchivan AR.
It is worth mentioning that Slovenian ‘Iskratel” company has been operating in Azerbaijan in the field of new generation telecommunication and information technologies since 2007. The company has been providing telecommunication networks in Baku and regions with NGN systems.
