“Now, all payments for all telephone communication and internets services, which are being rendered to the population by Baku Telephone Communication Production Unit, are carried out through the Internet, ATMs and Pay-Point payment systems.
The process of making an application by citizens for connecting them to the telephone network has also been fully automated,” told “ICTnews” online news service Beytulla Huseynov, the general director of Baku Telephone Communication PU.
According to him, certain work has been done by Baku Telephone Communication in line with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan’s decree “On some measures to be implemented in the field of rendering electronic services by state bodies.” As part of this work, the processes of connecting to the telephone network, changing phone numbers, accessing the fast-speed internet, etc. have been fully automated. B. Huseynov said that Baku Telephone Communication has also digitalized its daily work control system. “Managers of various projects are now able to exercise full control over all the works, which are being carried out on a daily basis,” he added.
