By January 1, 2013, the average monthly salary of employees working at MCIT’s organisations and units amounted to 330.0 manat, which is 9.9 percent more than in the previous year. In comparison with the previous year, the average monthly salary in the information and communications sector grew by 9.5 percent and rose to 620.7 manat. In the telecommunication sector the average monthly salary rose to 699.7 manat, and in the postal sector – 211.5 manat. In 2012, a total of 368.2 million manat revenues were earned by MCIT’s organisations and units against the forecasted.335.0 million manat.
This is 9.9 percent more than in the forecast, and 6.9 percent more than in the previous year. This progress was achieved due to the thorough implementation by MCIT of all its tasks and obligations, which were envisaged in the state program adopted for the reporting period.
101 new jobs were created in MCIT’s infrastructure during 2012
