Last year, MCIT held bilateral meetings and signed documents with foreign organizations to this end. The minister and other MCIT’s representatives took part in several international activities held in foreign countries and held a number of international conferences.
Besides that, MCIT continued its work towards improving its legislative framework. Within this work, various regulatory documents were prepared and approved. Along with these measures, the possible damage, which could have been inflicted to MCIT by different crime groups in Baku making international incoming mobile calls disguised as internal calls to Azerbaijan through internet channels without having registered these calls at international stations and without having acquired special permission (license), was prevented.
