In connection with the ongoing work on transferring number capacities of these ATEs into NGN short-term failures are possible in telephone connection. The phased switching of subscriber numbers starting with the digit "4" into the new ATE starting with the digit "5" (593/598) by preserving the following six figures of telephone number, is underway.
The existing 598 telephone exchange will be united with new ATE 598.Number capacity of the operator in these ATEs will be increased by 30,000 units after transferring into next-generation network.
Azerbaijani operator transfers number capacities
The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry’s Baku Telephone Communications Production Unit will complete work on transferring the number capacities of automated telephone exchanges to the next generation network (NGN) by the end of the month.In connection with the ongoing work on transferring number capacities of these ATEs into NGN short-term failures are possible in telephone connection.
