The opening ceremony of the conference, which will be organized in accordance with the Action Plan prepared in connection with the declaration of 2013 the Year of Information and Communication Technologies, will take place on May 29, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the Kempinski Hotel Badamdar. The conference will be organized in two sections:
Mathematics and Informatics. Section meetings will be focused on Functional Analysis, Spectral Theory of Operators, Approximation Theory, Differential Equations, Harmonic Analysis and Functions Theory, Fuzzy Theory, Probability and Mathematical Statistics, Control Theory.
The informatics section will include topics such as Artificial Neural Networks, Fuzzy Systems, Computer Networks and Systems, Decision Making Systems, Pattern Recognition, Natural Language Processing, Software Engineering, Web Applications and Web Service, Information Security, Information Technologies and Computer Education, Nanotechnology. The conference languages are Azerbaijani, English and Russian. 30 minutes will be given to plenary speeches at the conference, and 15 minutes will be given to lectures at the sections.

International Conference on Actual Problems of Mathematics and Informatics, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev will be held on 29-31 May, 2013 in Baku.
