The scope of application of e-signatures has been expanded in Azerbaijan. Electronic portal “Hesab.az” has introduced an innovation allowing its users to make any type of payment using their e-signatures.
At the same time, users can connect their e-signature cards to their private cabinets on www.hesab.az website. This will allow users to access their private cabinets using a PIN code indicated on e-signature or e-mail address.
With this innovation portal users will be able to avail themselves of the electronic services that require personal identification. In case the e-mail address in the account at www.hesab.az portal doesn’t match with e-signature in the e-signature certificate, the owner of the account must apply to the administrator of the portal for changing his/her email address.
After changing the email address, the user will be able to enter his/her private cabinet at the portal via e-signature card. Detailed information on using e-signature for accessing the portal was posted on the portal. It should be noted that a number of online services will soon be launched on www.hesab.az portal.
