Card Processing Center will be established at “Azerpocht” LLC in 2014-2015. On September,15 2008 the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev issued a decree approving the Action Plan for 2011-2015| on realization of “State Program on Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Development for 2008-2015”. Necessity to create such a center is indicated in one of the Action Plan’s paragraphs, related to the Ministry of Communications and IT. Relevant instructions have been given to “Azerpocht” LLC in accordance with the Action Plan approved by the Minister of Communications and IT Ali Abbasov. Let’s note that “Azerpocht” LLC plans to launch into circulation around 30, 000 and 70,000 plastic cards in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
