A total of 13,880 computers and notebooks have been sold to population since the start of the project on 10 April 2009 till 19 August this year.
The project aims to enable different layers of population to obtain computers and licensed software, to promote IT application to reduce “digital inequality” in the districts of the country and support efforts of the Azerbaijani government to boost information society and e-government.
Nearly 14,000 computers sold on preferential terms so far
Nearly 14,000 computers and notebooks have been sold to citizens of Azerbaijan under the “People’s computer” project on preferential terms so far.A total of 13,880 computers and notebooks have been sold to population since the start of the project on 10 April 2009 till 19 August this year.
