Baku to host international conference on e-Gov 3.0: Development Trends and New Opportunities
International Forum on the theme eGov30: Development Trends and New Opportunities will be held as part of the International Exhibition and Conference for Telecommunications and Information Technology BakuTel 2014, on December 3, 2014 at 9:00.
The forum will be organized by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MCHT), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Microsoft Corporation.
The forum acts as a platform for exchange of views in the field of e-governance and e-government to identify best practices and innovative solutions in different countries of the world and future development trends.
The main purpose of the forum is to create a foundation for the exchange of experiences among different government agencies, country representatives, international and local experts and scientists.
The following issues will be discussed at the forum:
- Future development trends of e-government;
- The role of modern e-government solutions in formation of the information society;
- Citizen-oriented advanced e-government solutions;
- E-governance and infrastructure improvements;
- Business, banking, e-education, e-payment, e-transport and other global trends;
Participants are required to register for the forum.
