The conference will be organized by the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MCHT), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Microsoft Corporation. The forum acts as a platform for exchange of views in the field of e-governance and e-government to identify best practices and innovative solutions in different countries of the world and future development trends. The main purpose of the forum is to create a foundation for the exchange of experiences among different government agencies, country representatives, international and local experts and scientists.
This conference will consists of three main plenary sessions: Plenary Session1-E-government as a factor of sustainable development. This session will be dedicated to countries’ approaches and strategic visions for the future of e-governance and e-government issues. A panel will discuss the work done in formation of information society, and particularly e-government in the country, and Policies and Strategies for e-Governance. Plenary Session 2 - E-government services: the most advanced examples. This session will be devoted to innovating governance services for sustainable development and well-being of the people, and to the best practices and the best solutions for citizens.
Plenary Session 3- Innovative solutions for e-society In this session countries’ best approaches for formation innovative community in different fields of living – education, transport, payment, banking, etc., will be discussed, as well as Global Trends and Emerging Issues of E-society.
