The event highlighted the activities conducted by the Fund during 2015 and discussed the tasks set for 2016.
The meeting also decided on the winners of the 3rd grant competition announced by the Fund. Out of 138 projects, which were presented to the Fund within the 3rd grant competition, 103 projects passed through the initial evaluation, 42 projects passed through the comprehensive evaluation and were submitted to the Supervisory Board for consideration. The Supervisory Board adopted a decision to finance 13 projects.
It should be noted that under the decision of the Supervisory Board of the Fund, AZN 168 000 were allocated for funding 13 projects.
Note that the implementation of 25 projects, which were the winners of the 1st grant competition announced by the Fund, has been completed. 12 of these projects have been commercialized. Implementation of 23 projects, which were the winners of the 2nd grant competition, continues.
The State Fund for Development of Information Technologies aims at facilitating the implementation of the state policy in the field of ICT, providing support to innovative entrepreneurial activities, stimulating intellectual business, innovation and research activities, promoting the realization of startup projects and providing financial support to small and medium-size enterprises.
Regular meeting of Supervisory Board of State Fund for Development of Information Technologies held
On 29 January 2016, the regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of the State Fund for Development of Information Technologies under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizadeh.The event highlighted the activities conducted by the Fund during 2015 and discussed the tasks set for 2016.
