In accordance with the document, Azerbaijani scientists will analyse data on relativistic Pb + Pb, p + p and p + Pb collisions that has been collected by the ALICE and will engage in dealing with the major problems existing in the field of information technologies.
Note that the project ALICE involves an international collaboration of more than 1500 physicists, engineers and technicians, including around 350 graduate students, from 154 physics institutes in 37 countries across the world.
It should be noted that during the signing ceremony, CERN officials expressed their interest in cooperation with the National Nuclear Research Centre and said that the signing of the memorandum of understanding was a great historical event.

In Switzerland, the National Nuclear Research Centre (NNRC) under the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) signed a memorandum of understanding on NNRC’s joining the ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) collaboration.In accordance with the document, Azerbaijani scientists will analyse data on relativistic Pb + Pb, p + p and p + Pb collisions that has been collected by the ALICE and will engage in dealing with the major problems existing in the field of information technologies.
