The meeting discussed the changes to the rules of organization and implementation of grant competitions, changes to the criteria for the evaluation of projects within grant competitions, as well as organization and current issues of next grant competition.
The participants widely exchanged views on areas included in the agenda of the meeting and decisions were adopted.
Chairman of the Fund’s Supervisory Board, Deputy Minister of Communications and High Technologies Elmir Velizade noted the improvement in the quality of the projects submitted for grant competitions until now. He also expressed hope that essentially innovative and interesting projects will be submitted to the competition.
The innovations related to the next grant competition were also announced at the meeting.
It was noted that the new competition will be carried out in three areas - development of electronic services, improving infrastructure, and innovative solutions.
Given the summer season, it was also decided to set a two-month deadline for receiving documents and announce a new grant competition on 1 July 2016.
