The number of broadband internet users has increased in Sumqait city. Among works, carried out in this direction, was installation of ports at EATS.
Thus, 224 ports were installed in EATS-653, 128 ports in EATS-656, 64 – in Baqlar Massif.
In order to provide the disabled persons with high level of broadband internet services 16 port DSLAm equipment was installed in the nursing home being built in micro-district No:18.
IDP technology equipment was installed at EATS-643 so as to provide users, living in remote areas, with speedy and high quality internet.
Let’s note that after Sumqait EATS had switched to NGN technologies it became possible for users to use all the multimedia services. It should be noted that Sumgait TC center holds the leading place in the number of broadband internet users among the regions.
