The opening ceremony of the Exhibition will take place at the Baku Expo Center on November 29. The Exhibition will continue until December 2.
The Ministry of Communications and High Technologies has already approved the Action Plan of the Exhibition "BakuTel-2016".
The Exhibition will serve as a platform for demonstrating all the achievements of the telecommunications and information technologies sector, presenting progressive ideas and projects, conducting important discussions on the development of the sector and building new business relations.
The event will be attended by representatives of the leading ICT companies, mobile network operators, internet service providers, system integrators and distributors of well-known brands.
The Exhibition will feature innovative solutions and technologies employed in the fields of communications, networking, IT infrastructures, satellite communications, TV & radio broadcasting, banking, business, services, etc.
Presentations of such projects as "Audio library for visually impaired" and "Digitalization of museums" will be made at the event.
At the same time, a number of conferences and forums will be held on the sidelines of the Exhibition.
Also, during the working days of the Exhibition & Conference "BakuTel-2016", the "Agreement on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation" and the "Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of e-government between the Ministry of Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Communications and Information of Singapore" will be signed.
Besides, the 4th meeting of the High Level Working Group on the Development of Information Society of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC), the first meeting of the Working Group on the Development of ICT of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the Ministerial Meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the 2nd British - Azerbaijani Forum on High-Technologies and the 4th Regional Forum on Internet Governance will be held within the Exhibition & Conference "BakuTel-2016".
